Motorola Cable Box

Motorola SB6120 For Your Optimum Internet Access
I just got an incredible on the internet deal on a Motorola SB6120 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 severe Broadband Cable Modem, and would like to share my private expertise with this particular product by reviewing it right here.
Overview:
I was pleasingly shocked at the remarkable functionality boost in my COX Cable Net speeds. The Motorola SB6120 was reasonably priced, easy to set up, and it is raw speed will blow you away. I’d hugely recommend the Motorola Surfboard if you’re within the marketplace to get a cable modem.
What’s within the Box?
The very first thing I observed once the SB6120 arrived was that it was noticeably smaller and lighter then my previous Linksys gadget. The modem came packaged having a smaller AC power adapter and Ethernet network patch cable. Also incorporated was a fast cable setup diagram in addition to a documentation CD containing an Adobe PDF SB6120 customers manual.
SB6120 Installation:
Installation of my new Motorola Surfboard modem was extremely straightforward. I just disconnected & removed my previous Linksys modem, connected the coaxial and network cables, and plugged it in. After installing the SB6120, I had to call my cable provider (Cox Cable in my case) and give them the serial number and MAC address of the new modem. These are printed on the modem and on the box. After following the Cox technicians simple instructions on rebooting my new modem, then restarting my home network router, I was on the web and happily surfing the Net.
Motorola Surfboard Efficiency:
I couldn’t wait to jump over to speedtest.net to see what this baby could do. All I can say is WOW, I was getting over 30 Mbps download and almost 6 Mbps upload speed. These are incredibly impressive numbers by any account, and also a dramatic increase in speed over my old Linksys modems throughput.
Key Features:
- Super Fast – No Lag in On line Gaming
- DOCSIS three.0 backwards compatible to DOCSIS 2.0
- Up to 4x faster than DOCSIS 2.0 modems
- GigabitEthernetPort-10/100/1000 Base-T
- Very Easy to Install and Use
- No Additional Software Required
The SB6120 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 extreme Broadband Cable Modem is not the cheapest modem you can buy, but in my honest opinion it’s one of the best values. The SB6120′s speed, efficiency, features, and excellent customer reviews made it a no brainer for me, and I am quite satisfied with the one that I purchased.
